This is a very handsome looking early Vintage Girard Perregaux watch from the 1950s, with 2-tone (silver & copper) coloured dial, and an early 17 jewels movement in excellent preserved condition.

Watch winds up nicely, and keeps very good time. Dial has applied gold coloured dot hour markers, and painted arabic numerals at 12, 2, 4, 6, 8 & 10 o'clock positions. Dial is signed "GIRARD PERREGAUX'' and "SWISS MADE" at the bottom, repainted, and is in very good preserved condition.
The watch has an original early Swiss made chrome steel case in excellent preserved condition, and very thin original movement. The case is a replacement case, but it fits nicely to the watch. It is 37 mm in diameter across including crown (36 mm without crown), and 45 mm from lug end to lug end. The item comes with a matching brown leather strap.
